From a Humble Beginning -"Look How Far He's Brought Us"

iconAs we, the Anointed Women of Faith Ministries, reflect back from this present time to our humble beginning: A short time after playing an active role in and as a member of the Junior Mission at Second Baptist Church, Oceanside, California, where we attended what was then known as "Friendship Fellowship Teas" hosted by various churches within our district, I was inspired thereby and gained the vision to continue on with this concept of bringing women together, however, they would be of all faiths. The god-given vision came to past during our very first Friendship/Fellowship Tea/Retreat held during November 1994, in Iwakuni, Japan and later our very first stateside fellowship, held on Saturday, November 16, 1996, during the hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Lord knowing my heart's desire to meet His people where they are and to carry out the principles of His Word found in Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV) continues to provide the means, tools and resources over twenty-something years later to bring not only women of faith together, but we can proudly say, that we are now a family oriented ministry endeavoring to do The Master's Will through making friendships, offering hope, building relationships, coming together for frequent fellowship and sharing in His Word.

  • November 1999, No annual fellowship due to hectic holiday routines - present date changed to Fourth Saturday in March 2000
  • 2005 Official name change from Women of Faith to "Anointed Women of Faith"
  • 2007 First "A Song in the Night" Gospel Music Fest
  • 2008 "New Beginnings" Published our first all informative conference booklet
  • 2009 Considered our 'Turning Point'--Vision expanded to hosting an annual prayer breakfast with date of Third Saturday in October
  • 2010 Major changes: Annual Conference site from Union Baptist Church to Yuma Hilton Garden Inn/Pivot Point Conference Center, Yuma, AZ & November officially incorporated/501(c)(3) Non-Profit
  • 2012 Received State of Arizona certifications: Tradename and Trademark for ministry's name and logo
  • 2014 The first Yuma/Southern Cal Area Prayer Breakfast --Third Saturday in August in Oceanside, CA. Website designed

Statement of Faith

We believe --- in one Triune God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Creator of all things, Lord of lords, Ruler of everything. He was born of the Virgin Mary, and took on the sins of this world.

We believe--- in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth ; His sinless life; His death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.

We believe --- The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a sacrifice for man who was created in the image of God yet could not live out the character of God, however, all that believe in Him are declared righteous.

We believe---All who believe by faith, and confess the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit who gives power and conviction for daily living.

We believe ---that the Bible is THE inspired Word of God and to be true on every level . It is inerrant in its fullness of truth, without mistakes and the "all-inclusive" authority on life-giving precepts, hope-inspiring principles, faith-building concepts and the complete revelation of His will for salvation and totally given for the practice of Christian life. God's Word is the ultimate final authority in faith and life.
